Cacao & Matcha ‘Affogato’

Serves 2 (to share)



  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup water, plus extra if needed
  • 1 tsp coconut oil 
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 scoops Coco Tribe Matcha Ice Cream
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Cacao nibs, to garnish


Place 2 tbs raw cacao powder, ¼  cup water, 1 tsp coconut oil and 2 tsp maple syrup in a small saucepan and stir continuously over a low heat until smooth. Test drizzle consistency with a spoon. Add extra water if needed. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly. 

Drizzle cacao sauce in the base of a serving glass. Top with 2 scoops of Coco Tribe Matcha Ice Cream and pour over 1 cup of coconut milk. Garnish with cacao nibs. Serve with two long spoons.
